There are 16 apples to put in bowls. Each bowl must have the same number of apples. Show at least 2 ways you could put the apples into bowls and explain it to someone at your house (human or other…) STEM: What are the different parts of an insect? H __ __ __ A __ __ __ __ __ N A __ __ __ __ N N A A E X O __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ (Comment below if you need help with this) Now the fun part!!!!!! Build a bug using things from home (egg cartons, paper tubes, colored paper, etc.) Here are some activities to keep your mind buzzing! Digital Breakout Box! Most of your kids have done a Breakout Box with me. It is a box secured with multiple locks. Students are given clues to the lock combinations and try to open the box. I would like to offer a digital option to the Breakout boxes. A digital breakout uses the same concept of solving a series of clues to unlock locks as a physical breakout does. I have set up “classes” for each grade level and attached a few games to each. Please see the attachment for registration directions (if it isn’t letting your child create an account, it may be because they are already registered. Try their chrome book log on info and see if that works, they can register for multiple classes). You will need the class codes below to access the games: Primary Problem Solvers: Y55YAU 1st and 2nd Grade: ZEVHBF The classes above have some of the same games, but the Primary Problem Solvers are a bit easier. The set up instructions are here. breakout_edu_class_instructions__8_.pdf Download File Make sure to check out the STEM and Lego Challenge pages, too! |
